“The Picchda Varg Jaagriti Manch”, working towards sustainable development for the persons belonging to the SC/ST and OBC including Minorities and especially abled at state as well as at all India level. The main aim of the Trust is to improve the quality of life of all socially and economically backward classes and enhancement of capability of the people, so that they can be very much part & parcel of the mainstream of the Society.
Main Function
- The main purpose of participating and advising actively on the socio-economic development of the socially backward classes (OBCs) along with other supressed communities evaluating the progress of their development.
- Safeguards of Backward Classes: The Trust has to act on behalf of the community based people and apprise to the NCBC to investigate & monitor matters relating to safeguards provided for Backward Classes in the constitution or any other law.
- Inquiry into Complaints: Trust has to apprised specific complaints regarding deprivation of rights and safeguards of the socially and educationally backward classes to the NCBC.
- Evaluate Development: The Trust has to play important role towards commission monitors the development and progress of the socially and educationally backward classes under the Union and any States.
- Recommendations of Measures: Trust has to recommends measures to be taken by the union and the states for the protection, welfare, and socio-economic development of the socially and educationally backward classes to the NCBC.
- Providing Annual Report: The Trust presents an annual report to the concerned/s regarding the working of safeguards for socially and educationally backward classes.
- Miscellaneous: The Trust discharges any other functions related to the welfare and development of socially and educationally backward classes as the General Body of the Trust may specify.
Reservation in the private sector: a necessity whose time has come?
- Address Concerns of Backward Classes towards NCBC.
- Transparent Functioning: The Trust working has to open to all its Governing body.
- Social Justice: The Trust is setup to help the oppressed classes in battling atrocities committed against them and ensuring swift justice under the shadow of constitution of India.
